With summer in full swing, it’s the perfect time to get out your journal, record new adventures, or feel more present during summer routines. Sketch journaling is a great way to liven up journal spreads with your unique perspective using hand drawn decorations or sketching your surroundings in the moment.

To help jumpstart your creativity, we’re hosting a sketch journaling meetup to mingle and sketch alongside other journaling enthusiasts. Bring your favorite art supplies or use this session to experiment with something new. Try out drawing on location and let The Paper Mouse shop or West Newton Square be your inspiration. We’ll also provide art supplies to share among participants in our event space. This is a freeform session to relax, share tips and tricks, or simply set time aside to journal. No drawing experience is necessary.

Each participant will receive a goodie bag with some sketching goodies to take home, thanks to Pentel, Sakura, and our good friend, Scott! Event attendees will also receive a code for 10% off one order (in-store or online) between 8/16 and 8/23.
