Save the date! Nibmeister Kirk Speer of Pen Realm will be at The Paper Mouse on Friday, 4/17 and Saturday, 4/18, offering appointments for custom nib grinds! He’ll bring a collection of demonstration pens with a variety of custom grinds for you to test, and offer custom grinds, nib repair, and nib tuning for your favorite pens. Each appointment is 20 minutes long and typically allows for work on two pens.

Kirk Speer started collecting pens in 2016, with his first pen being a Parker 51. He fell in love with collecting any pen he could find, mostly at antique stores. He soon realized the importance of the nib and began by repairing and tuning nibs, followed by custom grinds, which he began offering as a service for others in 2017.
