The Blackwing 574 pencil is a tribute to the 574 Native American nations and their art. It's designed by Kaw, Osage, Lakota artist Chris Pappan and evokes the geometric patterns found throughout many Native American cultures. Each pencil has a firm graphite core. A portion of proceeds from this pencil will go to the Cheyenne River Youth Project.
Like all Blackwing pencils, Volume 574 features incense-cedar casing, Japanese graphite, and an iconic refillable square eraser. Check out our guide to learn more about Blackwing!
