In collaboration with the Wagner Pen Club of Japan, FWI created the SP2 push-button style vacuum fill fountain pen. The push-button mechanism is cleverly housed within the matching acrylic blind cap at the end of the pen. The cap contains a spring seal to prevent ink from drying out in the nib and subtly incorporates a gold roll stop to match the rest of the gold trim. The acrylic resin body features a mosaic pattern of blue, tan, and lilac, elegantly complemented with gold metal accents.
Sparked from a passion for high-quality stationery and writing instruments, FWI, which stands for Fine Writing International, was founded in 2012. The company initially began selling and distributing products from well-established European brands. FWI is now recognized for designing and producing innovative fountain pens by collaborating with local Taiwanese manufacturers and craftspeople.
