Each Sailor Seasonal Waka Poetry pen embodies one of the four seasons through a distinct color theme, drawing inspiration from classic waka poetry found in the Kokin Wakashū (compiled in 905) and the Shin Kokin Wakashū (compiled in 1205). Waka, a traditional form of Japanese poetry, beautifully captures the subtleties of nature and emotion. These verses often reflect themes such as the changing seasons and the complexities of love, conveyed through language that is both simple and profound.
