Designed together with a member from the Wagner Pen Club of Japan, FWI created the PLE4 push-button style vacuum fill fountain pen. The pen is paired with a JoWo two-tone 14k gold #6 nib. The push-button mechanism is cleverly housed within the matching acrylic blind cap at the end of the pen. The cap contains a spring seal to prevent ink from drying out in the nib and subtly incorporates a gold roll stop complementing the rest of the gold trim. The acrylic resin body features a mosaic pattern of lavender purples elegantly complemented with gold metal accents.
Sparked from a passion for high-quality stationery and writing instruments, FWI, which stands for Fine Writing International, was founded in 2012. The company initially began selling and distributing products from well-established European brands. FWI is now recognized for designing and producing innovative fountain pens by collaborating with local Taiwanese manufacturers and craftspeople.
