Designed together with a member from the Wagner Pen Club of Japan, FWI created the Green Ebonite vacuum fill fountain pen. The pen is paired with an JoWo 14k gold #6 nib. The vacuum fill system utilizes a push-button mechanism cleverly housed within the matching ebonite blind cap. The pen cap contains a spring seal to prevent ink from drying out in the nib and subtly incorporates a gold roll stop, complementing the rest of the gold trim. The ebonite material features a marbled green and black pattern, elegantly framed by gold metal accents.
Sparked from a passion for high-quality stationery and writing instruments, FWI, which stands for Fine Writing International, was founded in 2012. The company initially began selling and distributing products from well-established European brands. FWI is now recognized for designing and producing innovative fountain pens by collaborating with local Taiwanese manufacturers and craftspeople.
