Custom 743 Fountain Pen | Black
The Pilot Custom 743 is a Pilot classic that gives a superb writing experience. It has a a refined-looking cigar shape with gentle curves, echoed in the ball-shaped end of the metal clip. The barrel and cap are made of resin, with warm gold accents and a 14k gold nib. The pen comes with a Pilot CON-70 converter and can also be used with Pilot cartridges. The screw-on cap can be posted.
The Custom 743 is compatible with a wide range of nib options. In our shop we carry the Posting nib, an ultrafine nib with a reduced ink flow that lets you write in tiny letters and allows you to write on even the cheapest paper without feathering. We also carry the Waverly nib, which has an upturned tip that works superbly for left-handed writers.
