This year we’re celebrating National Letter Writing Month with a special postcard challenge! Postcards are a quick and easy way to enter into the spirit of letter writing. They’re not just for traveling! Since they have limited space, they’re great for letting your friends know you’re thinking of them without having to write too much. And did you know that postcards are less expensive to send than a letter? The USPS sells postcard stamps for 36 cents each.
Here’s how the challenge works:
Write and mail postcards to 20 different people during the month of April. Keep a log of the people you send them to. (You can download our printable log below.) First names are just fine - we respect your privacy!
At the end of the month, snap a picture of your log and send it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Everyone who sends us their log by April 30th will be entered to win the grand prize: a curated box of our staff’s favorite stationery and letter writing accessories! We’ll contact the winner on Monday, 5/3, and they’ll have 48 hours to respond. The winner will be announced in our newsletter and social media.
Join us in the postcard challenge and spread the joy of snail mail!
