Missed Classes and Cancellations
The Paper Mouse Atelier reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrollment. We will inform attendees by email three days prior to the start of class if a low enrollment cancellation occurs. Attendees will receive a full refund in the case of cancellation.
Inclement Weather Closings
Atelier will follow the weather cancellation schedule of the Newton Public Schools. We do not offer refunds in the event of weather closings, but will try to reschedule the class to a pre-designated make-up date if possible. There is no refund or reschedule if the make-up date is cancelled again due to weather.
Substitutes and Cancellations by Instructor
If an instructor needs to miss a class due to illness or other emergency, Atelier will try to reschedule the class, or find a qualified substitute. If neither solution is possible, the class will be cancelled, with a full refund for one-day workshops, or a refund of the cancelled day, for multi-week classes.
Students may withdraw from registered courses for a full refund 14 or more days before the start of class. Between 2 and 13 days before the start of class, a 50% refund is offered. There is no refund for withdrawals less than 48 hours before the start of class.
Pick-Up and Drop-Off
A child or teen’s guardian must sign a release if the student is being picked up by someone other than the parent or guardian on their Parent/Guardian Contact Form. A photo ID must be provided at pickup by anyone other than the parent/guardian on file.
Children and teens may be dropped off up to fifteen minutes early, or picked up fifteen minutes after the start of class. If the student is dropped off earlier, or picked up later than the fifteen minute window, an early drop-off/late pick-up fee will be charged, of $15 for the first half hour, or $25 for an hour.
Parents/guardians who know they will need early drop-off or late pick-up can register in advance, using this link: Early Drop-Off / Late Pick-Up
