The Paper Mouse Collection in our Tenth Year

Ten years is a milestone to celebrate not just because we’ve reached double digits. There’s a tangible history and you can see it best in the collection of products we created over the years. Our product collection started with Raiders of the Lost Art art print, which grew to a series of postcards. We added more stationery items and experimented with a variety of products from handcrafted items like Jenny’s origami creations to curated stationery kits.
With each new launch, we explored different avenues searching for the right materials or partners to make quality products with illustrations representing The Paper Mouse sensibility, fun, a little silly, and full of imagination. Having completed the launch of our notebooks partnering with Nakabayashi and our fountain pens with OPUS 88 this year, we’re excited to have a well-rounded collection that includes a few of our dream products. Before we launch into more adventures in 2026, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the full collection.
Writing Desk
Our earliest stationery products started with art prints and a range of stationery for correspondence like postcards, greetings cards, and letter sets. We’ve learned a lot from designing products in this category. A winter scene might not be ideal for coloring postcards or a slight color shift in the printing of an illustration can drastically change the mood from something pleasant to a sad and dreary scene. Growing from these simpler products to something as specialized as fountain pens is a big achievement and we're excited to finally offer both stationery and writing tools for your writing desk.
Everyday Stationery
Assembling the perfect, portable stationery kit is a labor of love. It takes time to select the right essentials that are functional, enjoyable to use, and easy to tote around. With the creation of our own paper goods like sticky notes, notepads, and washi tapes, our hope was that some or all of these items make it into someone’s everyday pen case. The cute characters plus the variety of formats make for handy tools without sacrificing fun.
Journaling
One of the most exciting parts of working at The Paper Mouse is seeing the community of stationery enthusiasts connect with each other. We’ve learned a lot from our own customers and the creative uses of the products we sell and why some of them have a cult-like following. With that in mind, we started dreaming up a stamp collection after seeing the turnout for the Traveler's Stamp Caravan event. Combined with our other stationery products, stickers, washi tapes, and even fountain pens, we have multiple products for several journaling styles.
Paper Mouse Gear
We’ve ventured into a couple accessories with an enamel pin of our flying mouse logo and a tote bag. Until we can tackle some the ideas we have for other accessories, vinyl stickers offer a lot of options to personalize belongings. They also lend themselves to expressive versions of illustrations from our other products. Each of us on the Paper Mouse team has our own favorites adorning various electronics and notebooks.
Gifting
Last year we were able to find a new manufacturer so we could add gift bags to our collection. Springtime in the Square is chock full of easter eggs and whimsy. This product format gave us a canvas to go a little wild incorporating all sorts of silly and charming scenes. For something a little more classic, we have some charming florals and mice in our Field of Flowers gift wrap and Golden Field gift bag.
Looking Ahead
Going into the new year, we’re taking a look at our product development list with fresh eyes equipped with all the recent experience we gained from the projects we had in 2025. Each idea becomes its own little journey as we figure out how to make it a reality. We’re also eager to hear what you’d like to see next.
