Kings and queens, knights and castles, Vikings and dragons: the Medieval period was a time of great excitement and fascinating beliefs. During February Vacation Week we’ll explore the people, animals and culture of the Middle Ages as we learn about arts and crafts from Medieval times. From painting and illuminating manuscripts, to architecture and shipbuilding, to bookbinding and leatherworking, making things by hand was an integral part of Medieval life. We’ll draw inspiration from history to create our own marvelous art and craft projects.
